Dynamic Gold is the Gold Standard by which all other iron shafts are measured. The Dynamic Gold DST is a proprietary shaft made for Srixon irons by True Temper featuring a balance point closer to the Butt of the shaft.

You can call it the counter balanced version of the Dynamic Gold shaft. The shaft is 120 grams in stiff flex. By removing weight from the tip side of the shaft and moving to the butt end, it enables faster club head speed for average players. Same philosophy of counter balancing in shafts are used in their XXIO products.

For average golfers and for slower club headspeed, they have found that traditional shaft balancing causes casting motions where it decelerate the club head speed.
